RMHC WA Ride for Sick Kids 2023

Please support me riding for sick kids!

Every day, families from across WA come to Perth so that their child can receive emergency medical treatment. Ronald McDonald House is their Home Away From Home during the most difficult time of their lives. 

This October I’ll be taking part in the Ride for Sick Kids 2022. I’ll be raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Western Australia (RMHC WA). Over four days I will be cycling 500km through the South-West from Collie back up to Perth. 

RMHC means a lot to my family - In 2013, our Daughter Grace was born with a small heart condition, which required us to stay close at the Monash Children's Hospital, in Victoria. At the time, we lived quite a distance away, and were not eligible to use any of the hospital hotels, however - the days were made bright by the RMHC Family Rooms, They provided a Sanctuary away from the pressures of the Hospital, and we filled with Love and Support - Something i will continue to repay for the foreseeable future.
 
Most that know me - Understand, that I'm not an athlete, and will need a lot of training to get this completed, I might be hurting physically on the ride, I will happily endure it all for a great cause – to help keep the doors open to families when they need RMHC WA the most.
