Taylah's story
When Taylah Jones was only 8 years old she was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis, a condition requiring constant check-ups and treatment.
The Jones family hail from Cape Burney, 408kms from Perth in the Mid-West region of Western Australia. Since Taylah’s diagnosis, Ronald McDonald House WA has provided the Jones’ family with supported accommodation for 23 nights across 9 different stays.
Taylah is a sponsored student on the Ronald McDonald Learning Program (RMLP). The RMLP provides specialist education and support so seriously ill children can continue to learn and thrive.
Staying at the House has kept the family close together while they’re in Perth for Taylah’s treatment.
